Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival

  • Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel by our local representative.
  • After a short rest, visit the Khmer-style Royal Palace complex, built in 1866.
  • Explore the nearby Silver Pagoda, housing Buddha statues adorned with gold, diamonds, and gemstones.
  • Stop at Independence Monument and visit the National Museum, featuring over 5,000 art pieces.
  • Pass through the riverfront park where four rivers, including the Mekong, converge.
  • Walk up to sacred Phnom Daun Penh, a significant pagoda and namesake of Phnom Penh.
  • Visit Central Market, designed in 1937 by French architect Louis Chauchon.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 2: Phnom Penh-Visit-Bus to Siem Reap

  • Morning visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (formerly S-21), a key Khmer Rouge interrogation center.
  • Afterward, shop at the Russian Market and experience the local daily life.
  • Afternoon transfer to the bus station for a shuttle bus to Siem Reap.
  • Arrival in Siem Reap, known for its historical treasures.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Angkor Full Day Tour 

  • Explore the South Gate of Angkor Thom, a walled and moated royal city and the last capital of the Angkorian Empire.
  • Visit Bayon Temple, known for its complex architectural history, and Terrace of the Elephants, adorned with carvings.
  • See Baphuon, a massive temple mountain, Royal Palace Area, and Phimeanakas, a sandstone pyramid.
  • Visit Terrace of the Leper King, featuring carved walls with mythological figures.
  • Afternoon visit to Angkor Wat, built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.
  • Enjoy the nightlife at bars and pubs in Angkor Night Market.

Day 4: Angkor Full Day Tour

Visit the Small Circuit temples, including:

  • Ta Prohm: A temple intertwined with giant trees, showcasing a blend of human and natural beauty.
  • Prasat Kravan: Built by noblemen, not kings.
  • Banteay Kdei: Sandstone temple with deteriorated yet beautiful lintels and pediments.
  • Srah Srang: Royal pool once used by the king and his concubines.
  • Takeo: An unfinished pyramid temple commissioned by King Suryavarman I, dedicated to Shiva.
  • Thommanon: Well-preserved small temple, built around the same time as Angkor Wat.
  • Chau Say Tevoda: A 12th-century temple dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu.

Afternoon visit to Grand Circuit temples, including:

  • Preah Khan: Known for its long corridors and delicate carvings.
  • Neak Pean: A temple symbolizing the heavens, built by Jayavarman VII.
  • Ta Som: A small, classic Bayon-style monastic complex.
  • East Mebon: 10th-century temple situated on a former island.
  • Pre-Rup: A 10th-century temple known for its beautiful sunset views.

Day 5: Seim Reap Visit

  • Morning visit to Wat Thmei (Killing Field), featuring a glass-walled stupa with bones of Khmer Rouge victims.
  • Return to visit Les Artisans d’Angkor
  • Chantiers Ecole, showcasing fine authentic Khmer arts and crafts.
  • Afternoon visit to Floating Villages, 10 km south of Siem Reap, with a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake.
  • Experience the traditional Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap.
  • Visit Wat Bo, an 18th-century pagoda with unique late 19th-century Reamker wall paintings.
  • Explore the Local Market.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap Departure

  • Morning transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
  • If time allows, visit Puok, the original location of Artisans d’Angkor silk production.
  • Observe the entire silk-making process, from silkworms to cocoon spinning.
  • Watch weaving work and have the opportunity to purchase high-quality silk products as souvenirs.
