Egypt & the Nile
The journey.
Five thousand years of showing off, and Egypt still lands the punch. The trick is the pace: one great monument a day, an Egyptologist who tells stories instead of dates, and the Nile itself as your hotel.
The wonders Giza before the buses, a private moment in front of Tutankhamun's gold, and Saqqara's step pyramid where it all began.
The river Then south by private dahabiya — a sailing houseboat with a crew of eight and guests of six. Temples appear on the banks, feluccas cross at dusk, and dinner happens wherever the wind decides.
History at nap-inclusive pace. The pharaohs would approve.
Make this journey yoursQuestions people ask about Egypt & the Nile
- How many days do you need for Egypt & the Nile?
- We build it as 8 nights, 9 days. That is the length that lets the route breathe without adding a night nobody needed.
- How much does Egypt & the Nile cost from India?
- From ₹16L for two people, land only. That is our starting price for the whole journey rather than a per night rate, and international flights are quoted separately at cost.
- When is the best time to go?
- October to April. Summer in Luxor and Aswan is punishing, which is why the Nile season runs in the cooler months.
- What visa do Indian travellers need?
- An e visa online or a visa on arrival, both straightforward for Indian passport holders. Rules change, so we confirm the current requirement for your passport when we plan the trip.
- How long is the flight from India?
- About six hours non stop from Delhi to Cairo, or eight with one stop.
- Is this a private trip or a group tour?
- Private. The itinerary, the guide and the vehicle are yours alone, and every date is set around you rather than a fixed departure.
- Can the itinerary be changed?
- Yes. Egypt & the Nile is a starting shape, not a fixed package. Add nights, swap a city, change the hotel standard, or tell us what you would rather do with a day and we rebuild it.
