Day 1 · Tokyo · Arrival in Tokyo
You are met on arrival in Tokyo and transferred to your hotel according to your flight time. You spend the night in a 35 square metre non-smoking Deluxe Double room.
Day 2 · Tokyo · Tokyo City Highlights
With an English speaking guide and a private vehicle for the day, you visit the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, Tsukiji market, Asakusa with Sensoji temple and Nakamise shopping street, and Tokyo Skytree. Admission to Tokyo Skytree is included, and the vehicle collects you at your hotel at 9am and returns you by 6pm, with some flexibility on timing.
Day 3 · Tokyo · Gardens and Neighbourhoods
After breakfast at the hotel, a private vehicle takes you through the day as you visit Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park, Takeshita Street in Harajuku, and the Shibuya Scramble crossing.
Day 4 · Tokyo · Art and Electric Streets
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a private vehicle for the day to visit TeamLab Planets Tokyo, with admission included, followed by the streets of Akihabara and Ginza.
Day 5 · Tokyo to Hakone · On to Hakone
You travel from Tokyo to Hakone, stopping at Owakudani before riding the Hakone Ropeway and taking a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi, with an English speaking guide included throughout. You overnight at Hakone Kowakien Tenyu in a 35 square metre room with its own open air hot spring, with breakfast and dinner included.
Day 6 · Hakone · A Day in Hakone
The day is spent exploring Hakone, taking in the Open Air Museum, Hakone Shrine, the Hakone Venetian Glass Museum and the Amake teahouse, with an English speaking guide included. Breakfast and dinner are included at the hotel.
Day 7 · Hakone to Kyoto · Onward to Kyoto
A private transfer takes you from the hotel to Odawara station, where you board the Shinkansen to Kyoto on a Green pass ticket, then continue by private transfer from Kyoto station. Once settled, you visit Nishiki Market and stroll through Gion, staying overnight at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto in a 28 square metre King room with breakfast included.
Day 8 · Kyoto · Kyoto Highlights
You spend the day visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine, walking through the historic Higashiyama district, taking part in a traditional tea ceremony and seeing Kiyomizudera, with an English speaking guide included. You overnight again at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto, this time in a 49 square metre Deluxe King room with breakfast included.
Day 9 · Kyoto · Kyoto at Your Pace
Your day includes a Zen meditation experience, time to shop around Teramachi and Shinkyogoku, and a visit to Nijo Castle. A Geisha dinner experience can be added on request at an extra cost, and breakfast is served at your hotel.
Day 10 · Kyoto · Arashiyama and the Golden Pavilion
With a private vehicle for the day, you visit the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Tenryu-Ji Temple and Kinkakuji, the Golden Pavilion. Breakfast is served at your hotel before you set out.
Day 11 · Kyoto and Nara · Day Trip to Nara
You travel from Kyoto to Nara with a private vehicle for the day, visiting Nara Park, Todai-ji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Breakfast is served at your hotel beforehand.
Day 12 · Kyoto to Osaka KIX · Departure from Kyoto
After breakfast at your hotel, you transfer from Kyoto to Kansai International Airport for your departure, timed according to your flight.
