The journey.

Day 1 · Tokyo · Arrival in Tokyo

Land at NRT or HND and a private transfer takes you to your hotel. Standard check in is from 15:00. Spend the evening at leisure and overnight in Tokyo.

Day 2 · Tokyo · Tokyo City Tour

After breakfast, make your own way to the pickup point for a shared small-group tour of the city. The day covers the skyscrapers of Shinjuku, Meiji Shrine, Japan National Stadium, Imperial Palace Plaza and Odaiba, with lunch included, followed by Senso ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street, Tokyo Skytree and Kabukiza or Ginza, before returning to your Tokyo hotel for the night.

Day 3 · Tokyo/Mt Fuji · Mt Fuji and Hakone

After breakfast, make your own way to the pickup point for a shared coach trip toward Mt Fuji. You visit the Mt Fuji 5th Station with lunch included, then continue to a cruise on Lake Ashi, the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway and the town of Hakone, before returning to Tokyo for the night.

Day 4 · Tokyo · TeamLab Borderless

After breakfast, make your own way to TeamLab Borderless, with your entry ticket included. The rest of the day is free for exploring or shopping on your own, and you return to your Tokyo hotel for the night.

Day 5 · Tokyo/Kyoto · Tea Ceremony and Kimono

After breakfast at the hotel, you make your own way to Tokyo Station to board the bullet train to Kyoto. Once there, you take part in a tea ceremony and kimono experience with the ticket included, then continue to your Kyoto hotel for the night.

Day 6 · Kyoto · Sagano Bamboo Tour

After breakfast, you make your own way to the pickup point for a shared small-group tour of the Sagano area. The day takes in Jojakko-ji Temple, the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, the garden at Tenryu-ji Temple and Togetsukyo Bridge, before you return to your Kyoto hotel for the night.

Day 7 · Kyoto/Osaka · Kyoto and Nara Tour

After breakfast, you make your own way to the pickup point for a shared small-group tour covering Kinkaku-ji Temple, Nijo Castle and the Kyoto Imperial Palace, with lunch included. The tour continues to Nara for Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Todai-ji Temple and the Nara Deer Park, after which you travel by bullet train from Kyoto Station to Shin-Osaka and on to your Osaka hotel for the night.

Day 8 · Osaka · Hiroshima and Miyajima

After breakfast, you make your own way to Osaka Station to board the bullet train to Hiroshima, with the ticket included. The day covers Miyajimaguchi, Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine, along with the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, before you return by bullet train to Shin-Osaka and on to your hotel for the night.

Day 9 · Osaka · Universal Studios Osaka

After breakfast at the hotel, you make your own way to Universal Studios Osaka, with your entrance ticket included. You return to your Osaka hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 10 · Osaka · Osaka Walking Tour

After breakfast, you make your own way to the pickup point for a shared small-group tour of Osaka. The day covers the Floating Garden Observatory and the Umeda district with lunch included, followed by Osaka Castle and its surrounding park, before you return to your hotel for the night.

Day 11 · Osaka · Free Day in Osaka

After breakfast, the day is yours to spend as you like, whether for leisure or shopping. You stay overnight in Osaka.

Day 12 · Osaka · Departure via Kansai

After breakfast, you check out of the hotel and are taken to Osaka Kansai Airport by private transfer. This marks the end of the arranged services.
