- The great migration river crossings run roughly July to October, and calving season is January to February. Both are worth planning the trip around.

- Kenya requires an electronic travel authorisation applied for online. Tanzania is an e visa. Both are normally quick. Rules change, so we confirm the current requirement for your passport when we plan the trip.

- Around eight hours non stop from Mumbai to Nairobi, or nine to eleven with one stop from Delhi.
