Namibia & the Stars
The journey.
Namibia is the most cinematic country in Africa and the emptiest — a place of enormous distances and even bigger skies. We fly you between its wonders in a light aircraft, because the land is half the spectacle.
The desert Sossusvlei's red dunes at first light, a walk on a fossil riverbed, and the eerie theatre of Deadvlei. Then the Skeleton Coast, where the desert meets a cold, wild sea.
The sky The true luxury here has no roof: a bed on a platform of ancient granite, a lantern that goes out, and a sky no planetarium has honestly reproduced. Scorpius, the Magellanic Clouds, a meteor you'll mention for years.
In the morning, coffee arrives as if the whole thing were perfectly reasonable. By then, it is.
Questions people ask about Namibia & the Stars
- How many days do you need for Namibia & the Stars?
- We build it as 9 nights, 10 days. That is the length that lets the route breathe without adding a night nobody needed.
- How much does Namibia & the Stars cost from India?
- From ₹24L for two people, land only. That is our starting price for the whole journey rather than a per night rate, and international flights are quoted separately at cost.
- When is the best time to go?
- May to September is the dry winter and the best game viewing, when the bush thins and animals gather at water. The Cape is better in the southern summer.
- What visa do Indian travellers need?
- A consulate visa, and the one on this list to start earliest. Allow several weeks and book the appointment before anything else. Rules change, so we confirm the current requirement for your passport when we plan the trip.
- How long is the flight from India?
- About nine hours non stop from Mumbai to Johannesburg.
- Is this a private trip or a group tour?
- Private. The itinerary, the guide and the vehicle are yours alone, and every date is set around you rather than a fixed departure.
- Can the itinerary be changed?
- Yes. Namibia & the Stars is a starting shape, not a fixed package. Add nights, swap a city, change the hotel standard, or tell us what you would rather do with a day and we rebuild it.
