How the days unfold.
Day 1 · Mumbai → Milan → the lake
The nonstop lands mid-afternoon; a private car has you on the lake by aperitivo. Dinner on your hotel's terrace — the first ferry lights crossing the water do the welcoming.
Days 2–3 · The lake by boat
A private launch, unhurried: Villa del Balbianello's gardens, Bellagio before the day-trippers, lunch in Varenna, a swim off the boat where the water turns jade. The second day belongs to whichever shore seduced you on the first.
Day 4 · Villas, gardens, or nothing
